Photography
& Disability

Between the end of 1826 and the beginning of 1827, Joseph Nicéphore Niépce took the oldest surviving photograph. It can be said that the Bicentennial of Photography will be celebrated in 2026.

Photography is very important for the inclusion of people with disabilities. It gives them self-esteem, visibility and allows them to meet other people. That is why we want to join in the celebration of the Bicentennial of Niépce's photography.

We would like you to send us photographs from windows to make a travelling exhibition in 2026. Photographers and photography lovers with a disability are invited. We would like to see your landscapes, your cities or villages, your roofs… We will also invite some “friendly” photographers to join our initiative, and we are working to have more surprises.

NwnPhoto is a non-profit association from Spain that works for the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities through photography with a professional spirit.

Send us your photographs, indicating the place where they were taken and the author to the email

                                                         fotosnwn@gmail.com

Please remember that the photos must be of a certain quality. We want all of them to participate in the exhibition.

The rights to the images always belong to the author. We will only use the photographs for the project, the exhibition and its dissemination.
